What is the voltage, current and frequency allowed in the operation of the air compressor?
1. What is the allowable voltage fluctuation value in the operation of the air compressor?
General air compressors allow voltage fluctuations of 5% of rated voltage taxis. The maximum voltage should not be higher than +10% of the rated voltage. Because the air compressor is operating in the range of 5% to +10% of the rated voltage, its rated output power is unchanged. If the power supply voltage exceeds 10% of the rated voltage, it will cause the magnetic flux density of the core to increase sharply, and the increase in iron loss will cause the air compressor to overheat.

2. What is the allowable current imbalance value in the operation of the air compressor?
In the case that each phase current does not exceed its rating, the difference between the three phases of the current should not be greater than 10% of the rated current.

3. What is the voltage imbalance allowed in the operation of the air compressor?
When the air compressor runs under the rated output power, the three-phase voltage difference should not be greater than 5% of the rated power.

If the three-phase voltage of the power supply is unbalanced, the magnetic torque of the air compressor will be reduced, the output will be enough, and the current of the motor winding will be increased, thus causing additional heat.

On the other hand, the electromagnetic noise of the air compressor will also increase. Therefore, in the case of serious imbalance of three-phase power supply voltage, the air compressor is not allowed to run.

4. What is the allowable frequency variation range in the operation of the air compressor?
The frequency of AC power supply in China is set at 50HZ. When the power supply voltage is rated, the deviation of the power supply frequency from the rated frequency should not exceed 1%. In other words, the power supply frequency can be changed between 49.5 and 50.5Hz.

Under the conditions specified above, the output power of the air compressor can be guaranteed to maintain the rated value.

5. What factors are related to the size of the no-load current of the air compressor?
(1) It is related to the structure of the air compressor itself. Some air compressors no-load current is larger, and some air compressors no-load current is smaller.

(2). It is related to the power supply voltage. The size of no-load current in operation is mainly related to the level of power supply voltage. When the supply voltage is high, the magnetic flux in the core increases. Due to the saturation of the core, the magnetoresistance will also increase. When the voltage rises a lot, the magnetic saturation in the core is very serious, the magnetic resistance increases sharply, and the inductive reactance of the winding decreases significantly, which will lead to a large no-load current.

(3) The corrosion or aging of the silicon steel sheet of the air compressor causes the magnetic field strength to weaken or the insulation between the sheets to be damaged.
